朱麟勇,1972年12月出生于江西莲花,1995年于北京师范大学化学系获得学士学位,同年考入中科院感光化学研究所硕/博研究生,师从王尔鉴教授,于2000年获得理学博士,并留所工作。2003年,朱麟勇博士到美国华盛顿州立大学(Washington State University, WSU)James K. Hurst教授研究组从事博士后科研工作。2006年初,转至加州大学圣地亚哥分校( University of California, San Diego; UCSD),在世界著名的光化学家,Marye Anne Fox教授(美国科学院院士,UCSD校长)的研究组从事有机光化学研究。
 
朱麟勇博士于2007年9月份回国并受聘于华东理工大学化学与分子工程学院“特聘”教授、博士生导师。朱麟勇博士的研究工作涉及到有机光化学和光响应纳米材料以及高分子材料化学;他在美国化学会志(J. Am. Chem. Soc.)等专业杂志共发表了近30篇文章,申请若干项专利。
